Ours is a1994 Road Ranger by Kit Manufacturing. It is our first and got it early last fall, it has obvousley been taken care of and realy fits us. Went camping in March, everything went fine except the battery and tank moniters quit working, no big deal and I replaced the battery. Went out to check things yesterday and found the refrigator is not working, Dometic rm2611 probably origional. It has 110 and 12v power to it but the on/off and mode buttons don't work or even light up. The power antenna light also does not come on and from the reduced number of channels does not work. However the antena switch box also has the cable connection and a 12v outlet similar to a cigarette lighter just below it and it has power.
I have checked every breaker and fuse I can find, including three on back of fridge and nothing was tripped or burned out. All lights both 110 and 12v work so does the H2O pump, air conditioner, microwave and all the outlets.
I am not unfamilar with house or 12v vehicle wiring but have never had to deal with both. Is there any hope that I have missed checking somewhere or will I be going to the local RV dealer for repair? Thanks for any help, Jim.

If the monitors, refrigerator and power antenna all have power then I would think that you have separate problems that will require separate trouble-shooting and repairs.

Some times you can visually look at a 12 volt fuse and it will look OK, but the fuse will be bad. The only way to check a fuse is with an "Ice Pick" tester and touch each side of the metal "tab" on the fuse to make sure that you have power at each. If each fuse is good, I would check for power at the items not working to make sure that you have power there. If you do have power, then as Son of Norway said,"Each item could be bad".

I had a 92 trailer and had to replace the monitor panel, the antenna booster, and the control panel in the refrigerator. This happened when the trailer was about 12 years old.

There could be more than one thing go bad at the same time, that has happened to me before. I used a continuity tester on each fuse to check, I had that experience also. Jim.

If this happened after replacing the battery it is probably related. Retrace your steps on the battery install and see if a wire was left unconnected.

Of course you also need to be certain that you didn't reverse polarity when replacing the battery. White is normally ground/negative on most RVs.

Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Thank you, I went back and checked the battery connections and boy am I stupid. I had reversed the polarity during instalation. Now everything comes on including the fridge. The fridge however blew a 5amp fuse when I turned it on, replaced and now it stays on but I am seeing no activity as far as cooling. IIRC when on and in auto mode with 120 to the camper the AC light would be on along with the auto light. Hopefully I didn't destroy something in the electrical's of the fridge. Thanks everyone so far, progress is being made. Jim.
