The Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf is a "stick and tin" conventional build trailer, ideal for a 1st time buyer. The wood frame and aluminum exterior is strong and light, won't delaminate and is a type of construction that has been around since the 1930's, and some are still around!

The Grey Wolf has a lot of features, nicely equipped and good value..I found that they sell for at dealers from $14,990 all the way up to $26,000 full MSRP.

But it also has some things optional that other brands have as standard, and you might consider getting, such as...
*Stabilizing Jacks
*Spare Tire w/ Carrier and Cover
*6 Gallon Gas/Electric DSI Water Heater
*Skylight Over Tub
*High Output Propane Oven
*Outside Scare Light
*LCD Flat Screen Television
*Ducted Air Conditioning (it comes with non-ducted)
*30 lb. LP Bottles (comes with 20 lb)
*Outside Shower
*Water Filtration System

So shop for a well loaded unit (most dealers will order them already upgraded by several of the above options) and try to negotiate a good price! $15,000 to around $20K would be nice. And good luck!

We have a grey wolf 27bhks. It is power everything. We bought it new last year and really enjoyed it. No problems so far.

My buddy bought the 26BH last fall and has been happy with it. Got it fully loaded with the power jack, stabilizers, awning, tv, rear rack and more for under $14k CDN brand new. It's cheap but does the job. He had a couple minor problems. The tongue jack fried itself twice, the 3rd one is a different brand. The sofa seems to be missing a cross bar as it is weak and flexes in the middle, dealer says it's normal.

Personally I find it a little dark inside because the windows are few and small and I'm not a fan of the placement of the sofa in front of the master bed, but that's just me.

The Grey Wolf trailers are available with the fiberglass side walls at an additional price. They are a pretty nice trailer for the money.

I have a 2011 28bh Grey Wolf. It's been a good trailer and I have not had any problems with defects. They are very hard to beat for the money.

Buddy picked one up last season, hasn't complained about anything so far. Good bang for your buck.

I own a couple of Cherokees and find they are decent bang for the buck.
