Can a motorhome go thru the Fort Pitt and Squirrel Hill tunnels going west on Route 22 to OH.

I found out later semi do go thru the tunnels not tankers. So every thing else can use them. Thanks for the reply

You can call PennDOT and ask them if there is any restriction. For Liberty, Squirrel Hill, and Fort Pitt tunnels, call 412-381-1815. "Explosives and Flammable Liquids are not permitted in the tunnel", but I believe this pertains to commercial shippments.

Be aware the some local governments consider the propane that rv's carry to be hazardous/flammable.

No problems with either tunnel, go through them all the time.
