Any thoughts on why a steering wheel pulls rather sharply to the right when I apply my brakes?

Tire pressure is checked and equal on both sides. When driving down the road, the coach tracks straight and true.

I'm guessing that maybe the drivers side brake isn't engaging?

Sounds like unequal braking pressure. Yep, one of your front brakes is not doing its job.

My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

My motorhome started doing the same thing. Shortly after it started, and before I took it in for service, I replaced all six tires. When they got the tires off the installer pointed out that a seal of some sort has blown on the left front wheel. Grease was all over and I suspect is getting into the brakes causing the left front brake not to work well which is why it's pulling to the right. This is just my theory as after I got the tires on I put the motorhome back in my shop because I haven't had time to take it to Frieghtliner yet. It needs a full service anyway so I'm going to take it in in the next week or two and get everything checked.

When I took in my Workhorse for the break recall they told me that one of the front calipers never worked from the factory. After it was fixed it made a big difference in the breaking ability. They found it was the metering block (I think that's what they called it)not balancing the front breaking force. It had something to do with the anti lock breaks.

Sounds like a front brake issue. First you may want to start at bleeding the brakes, hopefully there is not any major problems.

4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

When that happened with my 94 Brave I replace the front brake hoses and it fixed the problem.

I don't think that's going to fix his problem. It's kind of hard to get all the air out of an air brake system.

I had that problem once and the seal around the brake piston was bad allowing water into the piston area causing a sticking brake on that side.

A more common problem..Apply the brake and when the pedal is released one of the brake pads does not disengage causing a locked-up or dragging brake the RV will pull to the side that locks up.

This is caused by an internally collapsed brake line that you can't see. The brake line allows fluid to apply the brake and then will not let the fluid return or return slowly to the reservoir.
