It looks like you own a DP. Your problem sounds like a front wheel bearing oil wash gasket is leaking and spilling oil on the brake pads. Need a new gasket and brake pads. Not a big job.

This happens to my 36' DP occasionally and it always goes away, sometimes it shifts and pulls) to the other side. I think, on mine, it may be a dust issue and I blow the brake area out a little with compressed air. Take a look and if the problem isn't obvious "keep on truckin".

My first thought. Air brakes rule out a lot of other causes.

Bottom line, you need to have the brakes checked by someone familiar with air brakes.

Does your MH have automatic slack adjusters? Maybe it is sticking. Just another thing to check.

On my Freightliner chassis, the "S" cams that move the brake shoes needed lubrication. My right side front would not apply the brakes, therefore pulling to the left. If enough force was applied, the right brake would emit a loud "bang" and the right brake would apply.

The cure was removing the wheel, and applying a little high temp grease to the "S" cam and the associated rollers. It's a do it yourself job if you're careful. You don't have to lift that wheel, just ease it off when it's just a small height above the ground.

On mine, you loosen the lug nuts (an 8 ft breaker bar helps a lot), jack it up, remove the lug nuts , remove the wheel, slide the brake drum off the studs, and then you're looking at the S cam, shoes, and rollers.

To help get the wheel back on the studs, use a board or pry bar to help lift the wheel.

I had an axle seal leak and got oil on the brake shoes causing it to pull. Had the seal fixed and replaced the break shoes and problem solved.

On the drive back from the shop I noticed it would still pull a little to the right when braking, but I'm going to assume that's just because the brand new pads on the left need some breaking in.
