Well, it finally happened. The first of my 16-inch TowMaxx tires went south today, so where is the best place to buy the XPS Ribs, which many on this Forum recommend. THX in advance.

Been saying that for years.......... no ST tire will last or perform like a LT tire.
Discount will match any price out there.

Find the best price and then take it to Americas/Discount tire.
They usually will beat it.
Another good tire is the BFG Commercial T A.

Also for that big heavy tripple axle TH with 6k axles the Bridgestone Duravis R-250 is another commercial grade all steel carcass ply tire same as the XPS Ribs only not quite so pricey.
The BFG Commercials or Firestone Transforce are a excellent fabric carcass tire. The Uniroyal Laredo HD-H is a fabric carcass tire and was OEM for years on 6k axle on the HH II trailers with excellent service till new regs forced the company to go with 7k axles.

Iowa, just curious, did you run the tires at max psi? We're the tires balanced? How old are they?
I'm trying to keep track of these thing that people post. So far not having balance tires is out weighing low air pressure.
Thanks

I thought Costco wouldn't put tires on a trailer though?
I've been looking at the Duravis R250. I think that's where I'm headed. I'm not sure what chain sells them though. Discount and Belle don't list them.

Discount/Americas Tire can get them in a week or less. Not in their computer usually because they don't sell many of these commercial tires. Get a price from your local Costco and Discount will match it. If you pull in the snow consider the Bridgestone M895 as it has a all season rated tread that is still very good for trailer use with closed shoulder and a 5 rib design.
