Stayed there for 2 nights way back in 2006. Nice place, clean. Park mgmt. was o.k. You're at an amusement park so it's never really quiet but that didn't bother us. You have to pay the parking fee on the way in but that is refunded to you (or credited) when you register at the office. The rate at the time was $72 a night, which is still an all-time high CG fee for us. Our kids were "at that right age" where it was just more convenient for us to stay at Camper Village rather than commute in to the park everyday. You get a price break on admission tickets and campers are admitted to the park an hour early. Not all rides are operating at that hour, though.
On edit: We were in the Lighthouse Point section. All sites are concrete pads, picnic table and shrubbery (not all sites have shade). Full hookups at a pedestal with a night light.
We go about every other year. They don't reserve a specific site but try to get you in a certain area (close to the pool) if you request it. All the sites are about the same though....nice concrete pad. It is pricey but very convenient as you can walk back to your site throughout the day to change, eat, nap..whatever.

We thought it was worth it because the discount for the amusement park more than compensates for the higher price of the sites. Also it was an easy walk unlike HersheyPark where you have to take a bus from the campground to the amusement park. We stayed in the "electric only" area. We did find the the utilities were hard to access. We ended up borrowing an extension cord from a friendly neighbor.
As said before stay in the Lighthouse Point side of the campground it is very nice, it is worth the money when you weigh in the perks like early entry, can come back for meals or afternoon swims, plus it's just convient.
We always stay at Lighthouse Point when visiting Cedar Point. It's the best choice for us as our kids can come and go as they like, we eat out of our camper, and we go back into the park as often as we like.
Anyone going to be there over Memorial Day Weekend? We ate meeting some friends there. We have never been to Cedar Point or Camper Village. I'm looking forward to it. I booked late and all the had were electric only sites. I hope the bath houses are nice. The holding tank in the Winnie won't last all weekend.......
