I just completed washing my 31 foot TT this weekend. My question is should I hand wax the exterior. The TT is fiberglass and the RV wash I used had wax added in it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Waxing the exterioir protects the TT. You can Def see the difference in those of us that wax and those that dont when you hit a campground. People always shake their heads and ask why the TT was never taken care of.
Anyway, depending on what year your TT is would determine what wax to use.
A newer TT can use the spray wax. Depending on how it was cared for, the older TT will require some elbow grease. Since you used the soap with wax. I think it will depend on what it looks like now. If you are happy with the TT, wax the TV instead. :-)

McGuires #49,#45,and #56 is a three step process for fiberglas boats and RV's. You will be amazed at how nice it looks when you are done. An orbital buffer makes it go a lot faster and easier. #49 is a cleaner, #45 is a polish, and #56 is the wax top coat.

My TT 2006 keystone. What type of wax would you recommend? Thanks.

Since you used was with wax in it, you can come to my place and wax mine please. You could probably get away with waxing it maybe mid-summer if it looks good now.

I think that wawing the TT decals will make them fade and curl up around the edges. At least that's what I was told.

We waxed our 19' MPG a couple of weeks ago with Meguiars Ultimate, and what a difference! I can see this is something that should be done at least every spring and fall.

I recommend sticking with 303 Aerospace Protectant 2-3 times per year. Easy on/off with UV protection. That's all you need.

I've always used Meguiar's One Step Cleaner Wax for RV's and boats with great results. I would use it lightly on our old Hybrid Roo's decals and never saw any problems. Not sure what I'll do on our new camper.

One thought was to use the 303 on the decals and Meguiar's on the fiberglass---any thoughts on that? Anyone have any long term results of putting polish wax on decals?

Zaino! Use it on the front of your TT and bugs, dust, etc won't be a problem alonger. Spray bottle of water will remove bugs, etc. No scrubbing.
Zaino is expensive and work to put on but well worth the end results. It leaves a deep shine too.
