Hi, I have a 2011 F150 Ecoboost with 3.73 axle, max tow, Plenty of towing power for a new to me Sunnybrook Edgewater with a dry weight of 5600lbs. I have the Reese dual cam hitch. Driving on back roads at 45 is totally fine, but when I go on the highway, the front end feels like it drifts. Checked the before and after wheel well height. With 6 links, it is half way between the loaded and unloaded height. With 5 it is equal to the unloaded height. Both ways it doesn't feel right. I still have the original P rated tires that the truck came with. Could it be the tires giving me trouble? Should I get LT tires? Any ideas what the problem could be?

Likely so.
P series tires on the Toyota felt squirrelly even when not towing.
LTs were all the difference in the world...

on my 01 chevy i replaced the P tires before it got 5k on it. and i didnt even tow with that truck. it swayed worse than any other truck i have ever owned even when it was empty.

Why not try 4 links first. Our Expedition has P tires and tows our TT fine with an Equalizer hitch.
Also can we assume you actually weighed everything so you know the tongue weight is between 13 and 15% of the FULLY LOADED TT weight? Is the TT level or a touch low in front?

Are you sure both cams are centered in their bar Vs when the TV and TT are perfectly aligned?
When you change the number of links, you probably need to re-center the cams.

The back of your truck should not be at the unloaded height when hitched. If so then you have way too much weight on the front of the truck and the TT suspension. If you have it adjusted that way then you will get the feeling you have. Back off the adjustment a bit and drop the back of the truck a couple of inches.

The measurements I was using were in the front. The ford manual says that the front height with the WDH should be between the Unhitched and the hitched measurement. Which is the setup with 6 links. I put it on 5 links to try driving it that way (yes we readjusted the cams), this brought the height back to the original unhitched height. The front seemed a little more responsive but still had the same drifting problem. I plan on weighing the trailer setup this weekend to check all my numbers. There is no sway at all, it is totally fine that way, even when a truck passes. The truck and trailer are totally level.

P tires have a softer side wall than the LT's, change out your tires to LT's and you should be fine

Have you aired up the P's to 44psi? May help some. I replaced my P's with some LT E rated michelins and that made a big difference. E's are overkill but I got a good deal. LT D's would be a good choice.
