Are there lakes in Utah? Or Arizona for that matter except on the Colorado River impoundments.

Oh yeah I've heard of Apache and now I think of it there are some lakes in the southeastern side of Az, Lyman State Park. Zuni lake too but I don't know if it is accessible, it is part of the Zuni reservation.

Alamo lake, Patagonia lake, Lake Pleasant, Parker canyon, Lake Mary. Ashurst lake, Lyman lake, Woods canyon lake, Roosevelt lake, canyon lake, all in Arizona. I probably missed a few.

Eagle Lake we've never camped there, but I have it on my list of places to visit. It's in Lassen National Forest. I can't find anything on the website about dogs on the beach.

We just returned from 49er Village in Plymouth, CA. Great place close to a bunch of wineries in Amador County. Go there a couple times a year.

Have reservations at Jackson Rancheries in Jackson, CA. Beautiful campground with all the imenities and a huge casino if you are into that.

Eagle Lake! Probably our favorite and get there as often as possible. In fact just made reservations at Merrill CG for the first part of June.

Many many more....
