If at a park where the hose is 6 to 8 inches above the ground so the whole sewer hose is full of fluid (I hope it is fluid).
Any guesses on how low it can go before the hose freezes and we really find out if it is fluid or NOT?
Tricks and tips?

If it's going to be that cold, empty the hose.

Get a support slinky to keep the hose on an incline from valve to dump point - or, keep your valves closed until you are ready to dump everything. NEVER leave your black tank valve open, even if you stay hooked up. Keep it closed until it is at least 3/4 full, full is better for flushing solids out of the tank.
If it is just getting cold at night and your gray valves are open you can leave a trickle of water running in the sink and that will keep everything from freezing, in and out.
When we are parked long term we leave the gray water valves open. A day or two before it is time to dump the black tank I close the gray valves and let those tanks fill as well, then I can dump the black and use the gray water to flush out the dump hose.

All you have to do here is THINK GRAVITY!
If there are low spots, "whatever" will collect there.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

I would think if your sewer hose is full the CG has a problem with their sewer system.

If it will get below freezing I empty AND STORE hose. One time I emptied hose, but left it in place on ground. Next morning all the little bits of ice inside the hose kept it from squashing up like it should. We did NOT make a fast exit that day. Never done it again, I know better now.

Just keep your tanks closed. Then every afternoon, drain the gray tank and then close. Make sure the hose is completely drained. Next day, same thing. Once a week drain the black.
If you have a problem with the water hose, just unhook it and use the onboard water tank.

Lift the hose up and drain it.......then put it away if it's going to be cold enough to freeze.
