I know a lot has been posted about TPMS systems. Over 600 posts give or take. But rather than rummage through all that I was hoping folks with the various systems might post about which units they feel are the best and most economical and why. While I have not had an issue, I believe these systems have their merits can mitigate potential problems. Looking for a system that can deal with the 6 wheels on the MH, and also handle 2 wheels on the dolly, and 2 down on the toad. 10 total. I have looked on line at a few and most are competitively priced. Tiretraker seems to be the best deal, so looking for who has what, what's to like, not like, prices and where to buy. Thanks!

Chances are the answer to you question is already in the 600 responses. Try searching for TPMS then search the results for the make you are interested in.
I can't say mine is best because it's the only one I have had. Doubt you can get an objective appraisal on this forum; just more opinions.

As you already know and, as Dick has posted, this subject has been beat pretty well to death.

Several considerations here:

Certainly price is once consideration. BUT, price alone was not my primary motivation in choosing a TPMS.

It was important to me that the system I chose was not a "cheap import knockoff" that would be marketed for a short time and then another "cheap import knockoff" would be marketed with little or no support for the one I purchased. WAY too much of that in the market place, and tires were not an area I was interested in skimping on. Said another way, I was interested in a quality product, preferably U.S. made that showed a history of continued support for their product.

There are a couple that fit these criteria. There were a lot that didn't! I choose PressurePro.

You have to determine what is important to you.

I went with the TST 507RV system with 10 sensors, sensors have replaceable batteries. It is a very easy set up and works great. Monitors for high, low pressure and temp also lets you set your own limits. Auto cycles thru all ten tires (6 on the motorhome, 2 on the dolly, and 2 on the rear of the toad. Customer service is great, if you have a question just call and a real person helps you. I would recommend steel valve stems. I would also recommend the repeater as in my total configuration mine did occasionally lose the rears on the toad. Not the cheapest system but it works great and they have a great reputation. I have nothing to compare it to so I don't know if it is any better or worse than any of the other systems. Hope this helps you out.

i went the cheap route. i bought the system from pacific duallies. it is a rebranded tyre dog brand. it works perfectly, and has already alerted me to a flat in progress. it has user-replaceable batteries and a repeater. both the repeater and the display can run on either batteries or 12v. all alarms are settable.

I think you will find that you are going to end up with either PressurePro or TST. Those seem to be the most popular ones talked about with the best comments. The choice will be what matter with you.

Your question is one you will not find a good answer for. We all research the best we can and buy something. You will not find folks that have bought a number of different ones and did a comparison. I bought Pressure Pro because they have been around a while. Is it better than some of the newer ones on the market-darned if I know but mine works and that is all I ask of it.

I bought the TireTraker, and like everyone else, it works like it should. I did get a false alarm once, but it never happened again and I am happy with my purchase. It can handle up to 22 wheels and the batteries are user changeable which I felt was a plus.
So the bottom line is get one as soon as possible, as the worst one out there is way better than going without. JMO

I ended up with the TST system. Had it for less than a year. When it works it works fine but have already had one sensor fail and now the monitor will not charge and does not work. Monitor on the way back to TST for replacement. It was easy to install and I do not need a repeater or extra antenna to get signals from the sensors on the TOAD.

Tire SafeGuard

Just a real nice unit with flow-though sensors. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
