Anyone ever hear of this? I was going to a weekend rally and went through a small tunnel in AZ. My brakes applied about 3/4 the way through and my controller leds went blank. about 20 seconds after I cleared tunnel all went back to normal. I thought maybe a wiring problem, and the tunnel was just a coincident, but on the way back it did the same thing. It is right next to an old copper mine, could it have created an electrical charge enough to apply brakes?

What kind of controller? After market or Manufacturer installed?

What comes on in a tunnel and goes off shortly after leaving?

Could it have something to do with your lights?

Who wired this up?

The controller was installed by RV dealer using stock pigtail, I will have to dig up the paperwork for the controller, The truck is a 2002 GMC with automatic lights, so maybe thats it, I never used the trailer at night.

I suspect the readout is dimming because of the lights coming on as a lot of vehicles will dim the interior lights when the headlights are on. Depending on where your light sensor is you could test this in your driveway. Just cover the sensor and force the lights on and watch and see if it impacts it.

bit bucket had it nailed, just had the dealer correct the wiring, no charge so I am happy.

That's not the first time I have heard of that, I wonder if there is a confusing or incorrect print (maybe a mislabeled harness connector) some dealers are using...
