I've done it and the look on her face was... priceless. Shock, meets confusion meets the reality of how great of a system this is compared to our traditional, one step removed from cavemen using leaves, way of post-potty cleansing. 
Use a bio-bidet in home and RV. Heated water, heated seat and a post cleaning air-dry for under $500.00. Never going back.

Yep, you absolutely have to use filtered, purified and sanitized water to prevent spreading germs to your bottom.

The better systems have filters built in, but certainly the coach filter suffices. Truth is the chances of passing germs through your bottom that's worse then what is leaving is slim to none.
