Possible issues:
Too little tongue weight
P rated tires
Insufficient sway control
Insufficient truck payload
Incorrectly installed/adjusted WD system.

Lets start from the beginning with the trucks specs including powertrain (include motor size and rear gear, GVWR, payload, RAWR). Type/brand and rating of the hitch. Type (fricition or integrated)/brand of sway control devices. Model and listed specs of the TH (include the UVW, GVWR, listed tongue weight). It may or may not be possible to fix it. It would be of immense help if we could get a picture of the trailer hitched with a close up of the connection between the truck and trailer.

I'd say that too much trailer or too little TV is the main problem but lots of that can be mitigated by properly loading the trailer and a properly setup hitch and sway control system.

Can you post some pics of the hitch and sway bar setup? How about a side picture of the rig parked on level ground from about 100 feet away to show if things are level.

While you may very well be over the weight rating of the truck, being overweight shouldn't cause the rig to sway. You say you are new at this, when you say "sway", do you mean the trailer constantly swings back and forth and feels like the tail wagging the dog?
There are an awful lot of variables left to check. What are the specs on the tires (truck and trailer)? How much air in them? How much does the tongue really weigh (need to get it weighed)? How is the WDH set up, what about the sway control?
IMO, a single friction sway control on a trailer that big and heavy is about worthless. You may need to step up to a dual cam setup.

I just put a picture of the rig on my profile. The picture is from Thursday when we signed papers on the TT.How can I upload additional pictures of the hitch set up on here?

The published specs for both trucks and trailers are usually way optimistic (light). The only way to determine what your real problem is, and if it is even solvable without changing either the truck or the trailer is to have your rig weighed, first empty, then loaded for a trip.

In March I went camping with some friends near Moab, Utah. One of the families we camped with had a brand new toy hauler, about 28 feet, being pulled with the biggest Toyota pickup and a WD hitch. Last week I went riding with the son from that family, he told me that as soon as they got back to Denver his dad traded in the Toyota for a new 2500HD DuraMax. Part of the issue was power, but part of the issue was the size and weight of the truck.

Once again, you really need to make a couple of trips to the scales before you try to solve your problem.
