OK from experience here is my 2 cents. My truck (TV) was hit twice in one year neither my fault. I notified my Insurance Co (Nationwide) they told me that if they (Nationwide) paid the claim I would have to pay the deductable and it would be a no-fault accident. But instead I asked them to intervene on my behalf and they in turn contacted the person who hit our truck insurance company. Nationwide sent for the police reports (yes I called Popo cause the one guy said it wasn't his fault)
So ask your insurance co to speak on your behalf to the insurance company of the person who hit you. Next do not deal with the “Friend” who owns a body shop. Go to a Certified RV Body shop that will warrantee the work against LEAKS. Your or his insurance company should have a list of certified shops, if they do not contact the MH manufacturer and ask where to take it that is certified by them.
I would be more nervous about the slide being hit and re-aligned correctly so it doesn’t leak and works properly.
Good points, thanks everyone. Bob and searfoss, that's my biggest concern....the slide. It has never leaked. If it isn't aligned correctly then I start to see motor troubles down the road. ARRRRR

Its weird quoting my own post but after seeing the updated pictures, do not take my advice My guess is it will be totaled, especially with slide and possible wall frame damage.
If his buddy is allowed to do the repairs, I would place a time limit on the completion and not allow it to be placed "on the back burner" when he has other work. This can happen with buddy pricing.

Yeah, all valid concerns and thus, I'm going to go with the shop my insurance recommends. The adjuster told me it would get priority and all the work is guaranteed for life.
Wow, sorry about all this. I know I'd be very upset in this circumstance. I would not be keen on the friend who is in the repair biz doing the work, because as nice as the guy is who hit you, his friend is still going to act in the friend's best interests and try to cut corners for him on the repair amount.
If this were me, I would go the route of having his insurance company work with me and create a claim, and get the work done that way. I don't think I could trust this 'friend' with the repair business. That is not how I would work this with an auto accident and would treat the MH the same way. There will be some serious out of pocket expense if he is thinking of just paying for all this with his own money, is he having his insurance company pay for it? I can't imagine he is, as an insurance company likely has their own service providers that in most all likelihood is not his buddy's shop.
Great advise all around. Go thru his ins company. Get a copy of the note left at the office manager, get a written testimony from the manager, if possible get written admission from the at fault. Accident occurred on private property in Ventura Cnty, cops will not come out. Take the above noted documentation down to jurisdiction in charge of that area; either Ventura pd or Sheriff. They will fill out the rest.
Don' t let the other party or their ins know you were selling it. It is your baby that you took and take wonderful care of. Make them fix it to pre-accident condition.
Maybe the guy that hit your MH could just buy it from you at your asking price, then have it fixed and sell it himself. That way he absorbs the loss, and your worrys are solved.

So glad to read a post where the guy hit has a good attitude. Seems like there is not much of that anymore. I hope all gets fixed, and you can still get the unit sold.
