Hi everyone!

We just got our Cyclone and drove it back 700+ miles.

I noticed that when we were stopping there seemed to be a lot of movement and "clunking" forward at stops and backwards at acceleration. I'm guessing that I'm supposed to adjust the stops every so often (we did when we first hooked up)

How often do I have to adjust the stops? Is there a trick?

How often am I supposed to lube it? The new one calls for WD 40 but can I use silicone spray instead?

Thanks

At the very front of the hitch under the front lip there is a bolt with a lock nut that adjusts a nylon block that keeps the hitch from moving around on its own. If your hitch is new the block will need adjusted more often as it wears in. I would suspect that with the 5th unhooked, you could move the hitch around on the rails with out resistance. Adjust the nylon block until you have to you use significant force to move the hitch plate.
If you have the plastic wear plates on your hitch and Pullrite says to use WD40, thats what I would do. My hitch is older and steel on steel so I use SlipPlate graphite coating as they recommend.

X2 on what Jim_Cindy said.
If Pullrite says to use WD40, why use something different. It's not that WD40 is hard to find or expensive.
I wish I could use WD40 - I also use Slip-Plate and that stuff is NOT cheap!
Anyone hear any more about the conversion kits Pullrite was developing to install the Nylon/Delrin blocks into an older hitch???

Lube question first.

NO! do not use silicone base lubricants. WD-40 or 3 in 1 oil per Pullrites Owners Guide page 7

See page 11 of Owners Guide for adjusting Turntable Cam Arm Assembly.

The new super glides with the delrin glides call to be lubricated with WD-40 I believe. Our old hitches where either lithium grease or slip plate.
Also that front stop block will. Need adjusting a couple times when new then it will be much less often. Good luck love our super glide.

Thanks. Dh keeps insisting that we should use t9 instead of wd 40 although the instruction manual only calls for wd40. He's driving me insane!

I've been doing all the research, reading the instructions asking all the questions on forums etc. We both have absolutely no experience doing this.

Anyway sorry off topic. Thanks for the information. I did read page 11 and i couldn't really understand it. My brain kind of turns off when reading technical and manual things. I still can't really understand the parts of an engine and how it works.
