DW and I were wondering if anyone knew of a great RV park in Central/West Texas. We are looking for stuff to do with our two dogs. Any ideas???

Well if you like to hike I highly recommend the Davis Mountains in West Texas. LOTS of space to hang out and hike around with pooch. Plus downtown has a cute little organic food store with outdoor seating (paw friendly). We really enjoyed it.

Best place to stay is Davis Mountain State Park. I've got pics on the blog HERE and HERE

While you're there make sure to attend a Star Party at the McDonald Observatory. You can't bring pooch, but it's worth the trip!

Try Meetup.com we belong to a group here in Indy and they have groups all over for everything from dogwalking to dinning with dogs to just get together. Mother in law in Arizona join out there too. Great way to see things you may not normally see if you are new to the area.

Alamo Fiesta RV Resort offers a winning combination of that famous Texas hospitality and the RV park amenities our guests expect. Located in the quaint little German town of Boerne, Texas on the northwest outskirts of San Antonio.(830) 249-4700

Hate living in the house which is like a box.
So I like Tent Camping.
