Anybody know of a good pre-trip bug treatment secret to prevent bugs from sticking so bad to the front of your camper. I know a good waxing always helps but thought maybe someone would have a little secret to share.
Thanks for your time.

I use 2 coats of Starbrite Marine wax with teflon on the front of our fifth wheel and Camco Trailer Glitter wash to get the bugs off. I mix some in the bucket and first put a little full strength on the brush and scrub it in. then wash with glitter/water mix. Bugs be gone. I don't know any way to keep them off and the love bugs just love us.

If you are going to be in an area where bugs are really heavy you could do a light spray of Pam, bugs just hose right off.
Tear off covers like NASCAR uses on windshields.
But then again a good wax job and a little soap and water go a long way.

LOL, believe it or not I know truckers who did this when in the southern states like Mississippi and Louisiana in the summer time. Though I've never been down there I've been told there are some bugs down there that are near impossible to just wash off.
I used to get plastered pretty good years ago going up 97 just north of Klamath Falls OR going along the Klamath Lake shore. At some times of the year I'd have to stop and clean the windshield so I could see to dirve after passing that stretch of road. Another area that was really bad was Highway 101 in the Santa Maria area.
