I have tried 3 times today to post a new topic and as it was loading it stopped and said web site not found ww.rv.net but I can access and reply to posts??

If you edit your original post you will see colon between found and www.rv.net the colon W is equal to

The RV.Net server has had issues for a week now. Have you tired one of the other portals to the Open Road Forum? Try this one: Woodall's Portal
Oh, sh410 is correct about the smiley. When the display engine sees a colon or a semi-colon, it looks at the next character. If it is one on 17 in its "smiley dictionary" it replaces the colon and letter with a smiley

;) is just a wink 
Note, I used a trick to display the characters. Copying or quoting this post will cause the trick to fail and the smileys will be displayed in their place.

I had some issues this morning with it as well with the error message.

I tried pulsar's suggestion and used Woodalls portal and it went right thru no problem
