After resercing for months and decide from two makes we made our choice and we picked up our new Travel Trailer this weedend. I am very excited and love it but my wife absolutly hates it. This is our second trailer so it isn't like she doesn't like travel trailers. She just doesn't like this one. She wants to get rid of it. My question to you all is what can I do. Can we return this thing or are am I stuck with a trailer my wife wont go camping in. Thanks

i am very new to this site and am not sure how to answer your specific question, but i am curious why she hates it...is it specific items she finds unappealing or perhaps more of a "it's not like our old one" sort of thing?

You actually went ahead and bought something your wife hates? I believe that we collectively, as a group of fellow human beings, will pray for you.

What changed from the time she first looked at the trailer and said "this one is it"??

Or didn't she look at it first?

Either way, you'd have to ask your dealer, but I'd have to say, "Sure, I'll buy it back.. How about this price..." It'll be several thousand less than you just paid however..

Good luck with whatever you need to do!

Mitch

I'd say the best you can do is trade for another model from the same guy. Expect to loose on the deal, but if Momma ain't happy, you know the rest. I'm sorry for your loss.

I think you better get back to the dealer, and ask what he can do for you. Can't imagine what changed from the time you agreed on the unit, to now. But you better bite the bullet and do something soon or this could turn real ugly. I wish you all the best, and please keep us informed as to your decission. Macktee

We have a 3 day law here on cars at least. Talk to your dealer.

I believe if you financed, you have a certain amount of days to "change your mind". Talk to the dealer or look through our purchase paperwork.

Why would you make a purchase without her input?? Good Luck!

So you and your wife made the choice, you bought it, picked it up, brought it home, and now she doesn't like it.

Ummm.....I don't know what to say except "Boys Camping Trips".

Thanks for the advice. We were going between to brands she liked the other one. I liked this one Once we got it home she really sees the differences, feels this one is lower quality than the other brand for about the same price. I guess I will have to look at the paper work and talk to the dealer. Thanks everyone.
