I just very recently right-sized from my 30' Class C to a Pleasureway Excel TS. I seem to be going thru propane at an alarming clip.
I have the small 3 way fridge which I usually run on propane. How long does your propane last running the fridge?
Maybe it's just that I'm used to the old big tank on my C and have not yet adjusted to the tiny tank on the PW.
Do any of you use hott rodds for your water heaters to save gas?
Thanks

30 lb bottle on my trailer will run just the fridge for a couple of months. USUALLY when running the fridge on LP I'm also heating water and cooking with gas so it's a rare occasion that it's just the fridge. Refrigerator has a VERY small flame and runs only a few hours a day under average conditions so it SHOUJLDN'T use much gas.

I had a leak test done when I bought it, but that does not mean its not leaking now.
But I don't think so. I have shut everything off for the past week and have been monitoring the tank, and it is not going down.

With the fridge on 24/7 (on propane), our 45 lbs. tank last us between 2-3 months depending on weather. It does last longer on colder season.

Doesn't anybody use heat????
In winter, using propane for fridge, cooking, and 12 hrs. a day for heat, a 20 lb. cylinder will last me about six days. (No water heater)
In summer a cylinder will run fridge and cooking (no heat) for about ten days.

With our Class B PW, it has a very small LP tank. I haven't used anything on LP in the 3 years we have owned it, but do know it has a small tank. Our Class A only has an 18 gallon tank, which is also small and I have just used the LP daily on a trip and the gauge went down about 3 gallons at the most for a week, with heat on in the mornings. Tank only fills to 80%. Using fridge on LP, WH on LP and a little cooking, IMO a tank every 10-14 days would seem about right for the size our PW Excel TS has.

"B" specifically, my Roadtrek is 10 US gallons, 45 pounds. It will last two weeks of boondocking. That is in the summer time, using heat in the mornings if we are in the mountains (which is where we normally camp in the summer), hot water heater, refrig and stove. I am always pleased at how long it lasts. Our previous two Bs were about the same experience.
