The only thing we didn't like about our TT was the closet space, everything else was perfect. I have talked to a few people and have discussed a little about it here but it took me a little while to get up the nerve to do it.
I was actually supprised how easy it was to remove the top bunk and once that was out the rest was nothing. I put some trim around where the screw holse for the bunk were, put the rod in, added a couple of supports on the end and complete! The job only took me a couple of hours and it looks great. I left the bottom bunk in in case we need it but I doubt it because it is just the wife and I with the occasional grand child.

I always thought if i had one I would remove all of the bunks and turn it into a Radio Console/Computer/Office room with small wrap around desk.
Neat idea for closet...

Did the same thing with mine, but I also took the bottom bunk out-made it a TRUE walkin. The hot water heater was in the rear corner so I just put a shelf over the top of it. Tons of additional storage. Grandkids may not be happy if they want to go along, but I guess that's what they made tents for. Gary
Our Outback came with a queen fold down bed in the garage. Had dealer remove it before we picked up new TT. Entire front now has closet rod, so about 8 feet of closet instead of one. Wife loves it.

If we decide we need more storage I will add some cabinets down low and remove the bottom bunk too but for right now we already have mor than enough storage. I've been trying to teach my dogs to sleep in there but so har they aren't going for it, they are couch people!
