It's as easy as buying a reuseable equipment kit (about $65) and the "juice box" (starting at $55) at a brew/wine supply store. I invest an hour every week or two for a month and end up with 30 bottles of good-enough-for-around-the-campfire wine. Or mix with a little soda for the highballs that mom used to make. We're trying the red for sangrias this weekend.
I adhere a handmade "Happy Camper" label and now have an inexpensive gift when needed. After the equipment kit, it's about $2/bottle. I won't be breaking the camping liquor budget anymore. Just grab a few bottles and go!
Note: I make my wine in my non-moving house as the sloshing ain't good for the fermentation process.

So you look at the label and declare "ah Thursday - that was a very good day"?

Interesting idea, you make it sound very easy. How does it compare to store bought wines? Any brands you would compare it to for quality and taste?
09 SuperDuty Crew Cab 6.8L/4.10(The Black Pearl)
06 Keystone Hornet 29 RLS/(The Cracker Cabana)

It's way easier than I thought, if you use the basic juice kit. You can make it as complicated as you want. Just ask the homebrew guys. But in all reality it's 30 bottles in 30 days, drinkable right out of the carboy. I don't know why more people don't do this
I never spend over $10 on a bottle at a store, so my standards are kind of low anyway. Although I may spring for a $20 bottle at a vineyard. In my opinion, the 10-12% alcohol wines compare very well to store bought wines. Surprised me and every one of my guinea pig friends. However, the low-alcohol fruit-flavored kits are too sweet and make better mixers.
Next kit will be a dry white probably. This is so terribly addicting and cost effective at the same time.

To actually answer your question fla-gypsy, my wines are comparable to Crane Lake and Barefoot brands.

The making part, not the drinking part is addicting.

Sorry, but life is too short to drink cheap wine.
