A piece 3' piece of 3/4" pvc pipe, a 360 degree sprinkler head, shutoff valve, 3/4" hose adapter. connect them in the order listed, attach a hose, make sure nothing leaks and turn off the ****off valve (with the hose on). stand on the flush valve with the tank talves open (and hooked to a dump station). This will flush the sides of the tank semi well with almost no mess.

i'm kinda new at this indoor plumbing thing too...but i do know that if the little white door thing moves aside and you can see tp and not much liquid, add alot of water and dump it - if you have one of those fancy new-fangeled black tank rinse whatcha-ma-call-it's, even better

good luck!

3 sons? How long are there are arms? Round robin, flip a coin--loser takes an arm dive.

I've never appreciated the fact that my hands and arms are too big to go where other peoples will as much as I do after reading this thread.

If you are going to do the digging thing, go to a farm supply store and get the arm length gloves vets use when putting their arm up a horse or cows rectum for an exam. This will help protect you when digging in poop.

Have you been adding extra water to the bowl when sitting and pooping? Also, use as little TP as possible and you want septic safe TP (the kind that disolves in less than a minute in a cup of water). It sounds like you have the dreaded stone mountain that needs to be busted up. As others have said, use a wand and hose it out. Just remember that water is your friend with the black tank. Once you get it cleaned out. Never ever leave the black tank empty and never every leave the black tank valve open to drain when at Full hook ups. ONce the tank is dumped, put a couple gallons water back in it.
