A truck in the 2012 Diesel Power (magazine) Challenge made 1635hp/3020tq at the rear wheels on a dyno. 2001 Chevy Duramax 3500 4x4 owned by Jeremy Pierce.

Holy snap, THAT is SOME POWER out of a pickup!!!!

There were several trucks representing all 3 brands that made over 2000 lbs-ft at the rear wheels. I can't wait for that issue to arrive in the mail box.

Here's a link

2010 Cougar 322QBS 5er
2007 Dodge 3500 SRW Megacab, 4x4, 5.9L Cummins, 3.73, 48RE auto

HYPERTECH MAX ENERGY or DIABLO PREDATOR tuning
MBRP 4" Turbo back

Scangauge2 for Boost, Coolant temp, Rail press & Trans Temp

I am only finding 1400/2200 for his truck. Using the term "only" in context. LOL Got a more direct link?

Mine ~ 2011 Ford F350 6.7 SRW, CC/LB, Lariat, Navigation, FX4, 20's, Black with Black Guts.
Hers ~ 2012 Ford F150 Raptor, Blue Flame, Crew Cab, 6.2L
GONE!!! 2010 Chevy Tahoe LTZ 5.3 ~ Most worthless POS ever!
2007 Keystone Montana Mountaineer 30FKD TT

Would be cool if those trucks could make that kind of power AND last 250,000 miles, AND get 20 mpg.

OH come on get real. THEY DO NOT INSTALL THE ALLISON 1000 IN TANK! I thought that fallacy was long put to bed. The Allison 1000 as I remember is only rated to handle something like 850lbFt and 26000 GCW.

Well, looks like half of the Ford competitors have DODGE Cummins engines in them. Is that cheating? Maybe they have to swap engines to be competitive?? Last years winner was a Ford, with a Cummins.

But that Duramax sure is putting out the power.
