Bought a 3012 Cyclone in 2007. Now having to replace the floor in the dining slide due to apparent water penetration into the plywood. No leaks on the inside but apparently just water running down the outside of the slide wall caused the problem. I would think that one could expect that to last for the life of the unit barring a major leak or being flooded. Now I'm wondering if the other 2 slides will have the same problem. Originally bought the Heartland product because the quality of materials and workmanship was supposed to be superior. Not sure if that's true now.
It is a good idea to pull a couple of screws from the outside corner molding on the slides. Check for rusty screws. If rusty water has leaked and if the frame is wood, check for rot. If aluminum pull all the screws and put sealant in each hole and put screws back.
Good luck with the floor, it was a major job on our trailer.
