Howdy Folks,
We got off to a very late start this year, but would like to try our annual Spring (nearly summer) Ohio Valley Rally, anyway. Mt. Gilead (OH) State Park is a small but pretty park with a small lake, and would be a good place to meet. Bob Coursen made a run down there in March and scoped out 6 nice sites: 28, 29,30 and, right across the road, 50, 51, 52. They all have 20/30/50 electric and they're all available as of today (and #51 is plenty big enough for Chuck and Pat's Safari).
We thought the dates of June 1st (a Friday) and 2nd, leaving Sunday the 3rd would be suitable--somewhat before the camping season is over entirely and giving people enough time to plan. This doesn't mean we couldn't get together elsewhere and when, too. If people have preferred places and dates, please propose them!
Anyway, Marcia and I are going to make reservations there for those dates and would love it if you all could join us.
Email or IM me if you want more information. Post here if you can make it.

This sounds like it might be a possibility for us. I don't want to promise anything just yet, but we will give it serious thought. Getting away for a weekend to camp with friends sounds very good.

Ok, we are in. We picked Site #50 and I believe Peter is in #52. This is the afternoon shade side. And there are plenty of sites avail so if you get a chance to be there all are welcome. A good time to meet some old friends and make some new ones.
