Without a picture its hard to say, but swelling of particle board isn't a good thing. The rubber roofing should go over the edge of the roof and down behind the drip edge. It would be very difficult for water to travel up under it, so I would look for a leak in the rubber roofing. I would do whatever it takes to dry it out real good and if you can, coat the particle board with something to waterproof it. They make putty tape to go between the drip edge and the siding. I hope this helps. If you need to replace any of the particle board, they typically use 3/8" OSB material.

See if this FAQ helps: Posting Pictures

Do you know the URL for the picture you're trying to post?

And if the photo is only on your local machine and not on a publicly accessible website yet, check out THIS POST for instructions for saving it to a site like Imgur.

I can see where the particle board under the rubber roof has swelled some on on side/corner and was wondering if I need to remove the whole side trim to reseal it? and what would I use? I keep trying to insert a pic but it will not accept it.

If the wood is swelling -it needs removed and replaced. Use a polyurethane based caulk for sealant. Depending on which sealant is used -bonding type or not, may need to use butyl tape or doubleside eternabond under trim. Use sealant on all screws.

Tend to think that potentially you can peel back the membrane enough to repair then use Eternabond sheet to patch membrane.

There is a great thread on a roof repair done to a Weekend Warrior trailer over at Glamis Dunes.com. You have to register to see pictures.

No insertin any type of media -document, picture or video.

You only can link to a "hosted" location that serves the media.

The instructions linked are pretty good.

Right now I don't think it's you I think the server has having tissy fits this afternoon. I've had a few challenges posting. Which portal are you coming through? RV.net? You might try woodalls.com they both link to the same server but sometimes the portals have issues.

Yep RV.net is having issues with photos, I fixed so both photos would show on the first post and adjusted width to fit.
