Hey All,

I bought a Genturi set up a while back and I am just now getting around the getting it set up. I am going to assume that most of you that use Genturi or any similar set-up are not riveting the strap mounts into the side of your RV. I have no interest in doing so.

So how did you secure it? Suction cups on the window somehow? Find something on the roof to secure it to? Any ideas? If you have any pics, I would love to see them.

Thanks in advance!

I use a set of these, more trouble than they are worth. Use the mounting pieces that came with the Genturi Look here

Many use dual suction devices but I have read where the heavy duty types can leave marks. When I tried it with fairly cheap, handle operated suction clamps they would pop off after a couple hours of use. Annoying.

Hopefully, someone has a better idea.

I use this that I got from Harbor Fright. You may have to use it on glass if your RV side is not real smooth.

Simply put a little clip on the pipe where it meets the RV's gutter and attach it/hook it to the gutter.
The clippy thingy attaches and stays with the Genturi pipe. No need to fool around with those suction cup gizmo's.

How long does it hold? Do you need to check on it every couple of hours?

I use the 3-inch suction cups (the kind with the fold down hooks) and get them from Walmart...I usua;;y have to replace one every 2-3 years because it pops off going down the raod but for the most part they start where I put them...and at less than $4.00 per usction cup no big deal...

Better than putting rivets, sticky tape, etc. on the side of the fifth wheel...

Mine came with very strong double-sticky tape (in addition and as an alternative to rivets).

Same here. I have used these for over two years with no issues.
