I have a Jayco Granite Ridge, 2003, and the water pump runs 20-25 seconds after turn off the faucet. Like wise when you turn on the faucet it takes a while before the pump goes on. Plenty of water pressure in both situations. Also, anyone know if that unit has a 3-stage deep cell battery charger in it or will I boil the battery if I keep it plugged in. Tried to join the jayco owners forum, but they seem to be having their problems. Thanks, Jerry

Did you buy it new? If not the previous owner may have added an accumulator tank. Also I really don't think JAYCO was using a smart charger in 2003 but we had a 2001 DESIGNER, which was plugged in all the time, and never boiled the battery, just check it regularly and fill as necessary. The best way to verify the converter type is get the model number and do an on-line search.

That's what came to mind. I have a large accumulator tank and that is the behavior. It's a good thing.
