I posted many times before that I had something clicking when I go to start the rv! And this is what I found its a ALLISON TRANSMISSION VIM MODULE # 29509886, 12V, 6R.. I see them on ebay. but I still dont no what it does! And If I should replace it or not. I all I no is its taking longer to get the click before it starts. And if I dont click it wont start. some times it takes like 5 0r 10min And if I do replace it do I need codes or what?

English?

I have no idea what you are asking.

My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

If no one gives you an answer, you should take it to a shop that works on Allison transmissions. Apparently you have a problem.

You need to explain the problem and your request here. No one will have an idea of how to be of assistance with what you have written without a statement of the problem you are having.

Contact Allison or a dealer for the information on the module. They're the ones that will have the information your asking. Allison has pretty tight controls on it's soft wear and parts. The Allison transmissions dealers are the only ones who can clear and check codes since they have all the soft wear.

Mine wouldn't go into gear because of a bad exhaust break. There are several things that feed into the vim such as idle speed.
If all conditions are not right it won't go into gear to protect the transmission.
There is a good chance it is not the VIM.
You need to take it to a authorized Allison repair faculty.

He is waiting for a control module to engage to start. While I have no first hand knowledge of this issue, I have seen it discussed. Apparently the control module is waiting for some input/feedback circuit which when received engages with a clicking sound and allows the unit to start up and is unique to Allison transmission units.
