Will be picking up my new TH soon from RV Outlet in Danville. Thinking the best way back to NY will be to head over to 95 and go up to 17/66/81. Prefer to avoid the big cities and in no big rush to get back home. Anybody have another or better way?
I use the 29 64 81 when heading to PA. I will do anything to avoid 95 Richmond, DC, Baltimore, Philly. No thanks!
We love RV Outlet USA in Danville, (Ringgold). They have a no pressure sales and everything is unlocked for your viewing. We enjoy browsing through their inventory every few months.
I would also consider I-81 a better way also. I purchased my previous rig in Danville and it was an ordeal just getting back to Baltimore from Danville via 95

If you are going up 81, then by all means ,stay on 29 to 64 to 81....29 is a nice ride, most if not all, is 4-lanes..no rush,,,Chuck

Skip, while that would be a hell of a trip just to get back to NY, I didn't get a hint that the OP was looking to take 2 months doing it.

I did say I wasn't in a rush although that would be a little longer than I planned. Lol.
Thanks for the suggestions, really did not want to use 95 at all. Next question, any good camping there is southern Va.
There is a nice little National Forest CG with water & electric & a dump station. It's called Stoney Fork, about 10 mi outside of Wytheville, there are also some private CG's in that area, although we've never stayed at any of those.
