They probably checked out your profile picture and gave up trying to figure out what year it was.....with all the snow on it. Nice looking rig = no problems. Now someone like me on the other hand.

Quote: Relax and enjoy your stay. They just put that in the rules so they have the option to turn away someone driving a piece of junk. Lots of parks do this
I resemble that remark!

Either check out or get down to the nearest RV dealer and buy a new unit so that you will not be breaking the rules.

Do private camp grounds have the right to discriminate? Yes, it is their property. Is it wrong, as long as your unit is clean and shows well...yes.
I have seen many CG with this rule and it is not right. RV purchase is expensive and one can not purchase a new unit every 5 years just to stay at a site. Make your voice heard, and if there are CG that discriminate then just don't give them your business. Eventually, they will no longer be around. Oh, and enter a blog with their name such as in "YELP".
Personally, I don't think it's discrimination...kind of like speeding on the freeway. If the posted speed limit is 65 and you're doing 70 are you violating the law... ..of course, would you get a ticket.. ..not likely, but you could...it's called "selective enforcement".... the "rule" is there but it's up to whomever polices it, to enforce it. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Don't sweat it...Dennis

The park owner needs a way to limit those he finds undesirable. Seems reasonable to me.

I think this rule gives the campground owner the ability to control visitors/RV s. I have seen rigs on the road that I would not want camping beside me!
