Well I went to drain the oil today and couldn't get the drain plug free. For some reason I can't find my owners manual. Anyway I got to thinking that maybe the plug is reverse threaded. Thought I'd check before going with more force. I had run the ginny before working on it so the oil would be warm. Maybe the the heat caused it to tighten up a bit. Thanks in advance

For our 6000 quiet diesel's first oil change, I had to use a breaker bar to get the plug loose. I concluded they must have used lock tight to prevent leaks. I was near giving up because I was afraid to strip it, but it finally gave way.
Common problem...breaker bar and 3' pipe. They moved the gorilla that used to install the 7.5 oil filters over to 10k plugs. Or maybe hired his brother.
