This is the best thread I've followed in some time. This is the way all threads should work.

Good OP question on a problem.
Good group follow-up.
Good OP follow-up
Problem resolved .....

Good stuff

(Oh, and nobody bashed the OP) Thats part of what made this thread so good.

I just found the problem with the bedroom slide also. If I press hard on the rocker switch in the "Out" position it will not work. I can release just a little pressure off the switch and it works every time. The other side of the switch, the "IN" side, works! fine. I will call Monaco for a new switch and solve that problem!

Again all, thanks a million for coming to my rescue! We will be able to hit the road tommorrow morning!

NO NO, don't pay the Monaco price for anything, except as a last choice. First try Northwest RV supply and if they don't have it, then go to the Monacoers forum and check who the supplier for the switch is and go direct.

Yes. good that the slides now work.

But, but, but - OP Do you know how to manually operate the slides? That's when you can have closure on this thread.

Now on our coach 2012 Georgetown, with electric slides, there is NO manual crank, asked when we did our walk through.. bad design on their part.. I was going too suggest reshutting all the bay doors. Glad it all worked out

I noticed that the OP has a Monaco product too. Our slides will work with the bay doors open. All of our bay doors are side hinged except the water/sewer bay door that opens upward like a bus cargo door (no slide there). Sometimes you just never know what can cause a problem like that.

Pull the switch out of its frame. Look at the back of the switch body for its manufacturer and model type.

Search for that switch on the internet or call Napa to see if they can get it.

I have found 16 year old 12v light switches for $5 this way with maybe a 24 hour wait for delivery to the store.

My friend has a GeorgeTown and he has the switches on his compartments. He too had trouble, and had a tech came over at the camp ground to find the problem. What the tech did was disconnect all the switches as he said they are just trouble. The switches are cheap and not moisture proof. Good Luck...
