I have a constant drip off the bottom of the water tank (clean water). I'm just wondering what I can use to seal it once it's dry. We're going over night tonight so I'm not worried about it for one night, but we are heading to FL in a month and need the water. Thanks for any help.

I think you'll need to tell us the spot it's leaking from to get good ideas for a repair. Is the tank split or is the plumbing leaking and the water just migrating to the bottom of the tank to drip off there?

I understand that most water tanks can be welded. I suspect that you will have to remove the tank to have it done.

Most likely the tank is white polyethylene and will need to be welded.
Nothing will stick to it.
Do pinpoint the leak to eliminate the chance it is a connector or tubing not part of the tank.

You can do a temperary leak repair with a piece of Eternabond tape IF you have access to the leak. It will work underwater, so a little leak won't stop it from sticking!
What the others are refering to is a "Plastic Welding" shop. They actually use melted polyethelyne to permanently repair the tank. If they can get to it easily...it's a 5 minute job. If the tanl has to be removed...labor costs kick in. Most Farm Supply Stores will know who in the area do the plastic welds...usually under "fresh water tank repairs" in the Yellow Pages.

Has the fresh water tank got water in it or not, if it has, maybe the drain valve isn't closed tightly.

You may want to check to see if you have any line drain valves. I have several of them to drain the water lines. If they are not totally closed, they will leak.

First check the water lines, Fresh water fill line and lines going to the pump, They might be the source of the water leak, If the tank is cracked you will have to remove the tank and get yourself a tank weld repair kit, If you have a piece just like the tank it can be welded with that piece and a soldering gun.

All low drain valves must be closed completely, they are often hard to reach and stiff to open and close. If any are open partly open your water pump will keep running or cycle on and off.

ok. to add to the issue.. I haven't had time to get up underneath it yet, but when I pulled the bed frame off, I had some water around the water pump too. And underneath the bed (storage area) there is plastic. Underneath that plastic the carpet is wet, and at the end of the bed, the carpet was really wet, like you step in it and you would have water on top of your foot.
