From the vendor side, Good Sam wrote a check very fast for services rendered by us a a subcontractor. Don't know what this means from a consumer aspect but to me it suggests a responsible company.

I think you need to go back and do some searches on the forum. You will find this has been covered and most stated CoachNet is the best.

Had a broken spring on my travel trailer in the middle of no place. The nearest service was about 100 miles away. In about 2.5 hours they had someone there and replaced the broken spring on the spot. Had to pay for the spring replacement as expected but the service call 100 miles away was free! very happy.

Been with GS for 5+years now. Had 2 tire calls and one broken truck call. Tires were changed out in less that 1 hour each time and we were in the middle of nowhere NM. Truck problem required 2 tow trucks. All the times we had multiple calls from GS as to how we were doing and making sure that the repairs etc were done to our satifaction. It is cheep insurance in IMHO.

Agreed. I researched this extensively and changed to CoachNet. I honestly don't recall all the reasons why, but that's what I did.

I know I needed a company that would cover the toad... which... for me is a boat. Perhaps GS does that too, I don't remember.

Covers all vehicles in my family and anything else we drive.

This last Christmas, I locked the keys in my FIL's P/U down in Santa Cruz. No big. He has plenty of vehicles.

We waited until the 26th to call. The gal on the phone was very friendly and helpful. The serviceman was there in a half hour. Done.

Not sure if you get hotel discounts with CoachNet, though. And I don't recall them offering free maps.

Cheers,
Kendall

We have Good Sam ERS because the various others we looked at do not take the trailer just the truck or else they will take the trailer if it is still hooked to the truck while they tow the truck. Auto insurance companies are not RV friendly. ERS covers all the scenarios we could think of.

Used it only once and that paid for years of belonging. Got stuck in the mud after a rain turned the grass field we were on into soup. Needed a "pull out" on a really long wire.

Only thing was the ERS guy on the phone had trouble getting a fix on where we were (Vancouver Island , not Vancouver, etc, etc ! !) and it was eating up the minutes on the cell phone which were running out on this cheapo phone plan I use. Big lesson learned was to always have lots of minutes on your phone.

I have Coach Net....for the last 4 years, so far I have used them twice. Once for my Pick Up truck. (computer problem Towed) My wife's van (fuel pump towed) no questions asked. I use GS the first year we had our RV. Being as we were into equestrian used U.S. Rider. not so good service. If your vehicle is more than 10 years old, they will not renew.
