I lowered the price to the lowest I am willing to go and thru in an A frame pin box stalilizer and now have 3 people interested. 1 is coming out tommorow. I guess I hit the right price and people are looking and getting anxious. Hope so. It is still better than consignment or trading in.

We went to a so called RV show in Pleasanton, Ca. Just a place for a bunch of scammer sales people to gather to con people. Supposed to be factury backed show. No reps any where. Seems they are all busy, sure they were. This salesman did everythinkg he could to make me think my trade in was a year older than it was. What I perceived was their unit had a price drop of 20%, while my trade in had a 30% drop which worked out to me getting 10% off their price. Whoopy do a big discount! NO SALE! I was supposed to have a guy come over to look at 8:00 AM saturday. He calls at 5 to 8:00 saying he is not coming. A 3 day week end screwed up by a no show. In this economy, you get screwed coming and going! Selling, trading, or consigning, none of it works, too many cons trying to get over on you. I'm sure it's the same with sellers.
worst now than ever before. Everbody thinks they can get away with it. When ordering a trailer in late February 2012, you know and are told you will get a 2013 because 2012 are no longer made. Even though 2012 just started. Model years are very deceiving and manipulated.

I just got an offer from an arshol claiming they were out of town but would have their agent pick-up THE ITEM after paying for it thru paypal. If they will not deal in person, it is a scam. This scammer referred to my trailer as an item because they don't care what they steal so long as they can resale it. Seems you get alot of these people on craigslist, a hang out for jerk scammers. Craigslist has a endless amount of scammers, both buyers a sealers.

Yeah... us too! The folks at Paypal have seen this SCAM time and time again! Seems like postings to Craigs List, RV Trader.com etc INVITE the CON ARTISTS .. and the MARKETING CALLS like "we guarantee we will sell your unit within x days for only $xxx up front blah blah". Of course when you ask if it's a money back deal if it doesn't sell within x days... the real BS begins.

Be careful

Here it is 2 months latter and only things I get from craigslist is: (1) Emails from strange women with pictures of their butts attached. (2) Ads for pills to make your dong bigger. (3) Emails wanting to have coffee with me because my RV ad is so sexy. (4)Offers to sale my RV for lots of money.(5) The standard Pay-Pal skam. (6)Emails from bored people whom ask for more info and pitchures whom are really are not interested in buying. (7) Pill ads from Canadian pharmacies.(8) Nigerain skam. (9)Viagra ads. and so on. I get about 40 of these a day, sometimes more. But what I don't get is someone who is actually interested in my RV. Why do these IDIOTS think they can send these dumb arse ads to me because of my ad on craigslist? Craigslist is nothing more than a source of email addresses for these IDIOTS!

I have to agree with jdog, I listed my parents MH on craigslist and all I got were phone calls wanting to sell it for just XXX dollars, promising they had people interested in my model vehicle but had obviously not even read my add.

I have been interested in getting another MH. When I check NADA prices up against what people are asking for their MHs it's obvious that most are asking way more than they are worth. Makes me wonder what is eventually happening to them... are they finally getting their price or are they reducing the price? Gotta think some are just trading them in and I know they are loosing big time that way. Unfortunately most RVs loose value fast. Ron

Had ours on consignment. Let a "prospective buyer" take it to the Races. In winter, in snow. Damaged the shower etc. Salt on everything.
No way.
