In case you newbees avoid asking questions on this site because you are afraid it might be trivial or dumb, please don't!!!
When I got my new 5er I asked a REALLY dumb question (I won't repeat it because I'm old & forgot it)& got some sympothetic responses. Every one was kind & understanding.
So don't fret & ask away!!!
Do you old pros remember any dumb questions you posed?
With that thought in mind, remember that with the huge number of folks on this forum, a question will get a pretty wide variety of responses. Those folks who are trying to help, usually respond with personal experiences....and while that may be helpful, it may not be the BEST answer for a particular question....so, take what you read with a grain of salt, and figure out what will work for YOU and your problem/situation.

If a question occurred to you, there is probably others that want to know the same thing. Ask, you may be helping someone else by getting an answer that others can use.
And even if you get some flak from some malcontent who tells you to "use the search function" or some other wise arse answer, remember that it's only from one person who forgot that he too needed to learn ythings before he became a know-it-all. Lots of great advice from great folks on these forums, so ask away!!!

Good advice, and if you're a newbie, please tell us as we'll have different perspective on your question.
There are no dumb questions, I've asked my share, so if you don't know, ASK! We all started out as newbies generally knowing nothing, and if I can learn from somebody's mistake, I don't have to make that mistake. In fact, you can't live long enough to make every mistake!
So it's not ok for an old "gasser" like me to ask dumb questions as well? Darn, I had a couple I wanted to ask too.

The best advice that I can give is to add details that will help folks better answer your questions. If you prefer Full Hook Ups vs. boondocking, back roads vs. expressways, shortest route vs. most scenic, type and length of your RV in campground questions.
In the "what to see and do" category, what do you like to see and do? History, amusement parks, beautiful views, hard core hiking, factory tours, etc.
And if you need directions, "Columbus" doesn't help much without OH, GA, or IN behind it.
Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.
I would add make your signature informative. When asking questions, your signature can tell the answerers information about you, your rig and the type of RVing you do, so you will get better answers.
