Having married an engineer so that I don't have to think about this kind of stuff, I do know that our 04 PW with twin beds has a battery disconnect under the passenger back seat. I have to lift the bed frame and there it is--a red Key-like thing that has to be turned for the house battery to work. Sometime the key appears to be in the right position but it isn't quite. I turn the key off and then back on and it works fine. There was also one time when the fuse breakers had to be reset. I found it behind the hinged door near the fridge. It was a big pain to find the tiny reset button to push. Now you probably wonder why I keep saying "I had to do this or that". My engineer guy likes me to have "experience" so when I go out alone, I can handle minor problems. Whatta a guy!!!

Your right, fuseable links can't be reset. I had to replace 2 on my 93 Dodge Pleasureway. Do your own work and you learn stuff, ha. And it is good to know how to do the basic stuff as it might come in handy in a pinch.

I am assuming that your battery disconnect switch has an LED or pilot light that shows that it is on. If not, even if it is flipped to on, the switch may have gone bad. Can you get behind the switch and bypass the switch, temporarily connecting the wires in and out of the switch? If nothing else, this will rule out that switch.

The two 12 volt circuit breakers have very small reset buttons on the side of them. Use a flashlight and look at them closely, find the button and reset them. Your owers manual shows how to do this as well.

They may trip when the gen is run or when plugging into shore power if the coach battery is low.

Not your problem, but check all the busses, especially the ground buss, the screws can vibrate loose. Make sure shore power is disconnected, as well as the battery when you tighten the buss screws. Everyone should check the buss screws at least once a year.

Just got home. Thanks for all the info. Will now look into it more carefully and report on what caused the problem so that perhaps someone else does not have the same problem on the road. Don

Finally solved the problem. The day after we got home my wife found the tiny microscopic button on the side of the connector labelled "40 amp power converter" next to the coach battery disconect switch. She pushed it in and it clicked and we now have DC power when not plugged into shore power. A simple thing. I had to email Pleasure-Way to inform them that they need to make it clearer in their owners manual that it is a tiny button on the side of the 40 amp power converter connector and perhaps have an arrow pointing to it. This would have saved me a day of frustration while on our trip trying to find a "breaker". This does not look like a breaker that a less experienced RVer would recognize. It is a tiny button on the side of a connector. I was looking for a typical looking breaker. I do understand that it is a breaker but it should be described and illustrated in the owners manual as it looks ( a small button on the side of a connection). So thank all of you for your help and new Pleasure-Way owners please remember this in case you have the problem while on the road. I wasted a day farting around trying to find this thing and maybe now you won't. Again thanks all! Don

That is the reset on the 12 circuit breaker I previously posted. Ther are two of these on on each side of the master coach battery disconnect on our PW Sprinter.

Your manual should have a detailed view of this reset.

I have found when the coach battery is low and you plug in the shore line it may trip, same with if you start the generator.

We found that that when our original AGM battery was failing the circuit breaker needed to be reset more often.

GLad your back on the road.

The problem was that our owners manual didn't have a detailed view of where it was. But now I know and thanks for your help. I need to mention that Pleasure-Way already responded to my email to them. They sent me a blown up picture of exactly where it is with arrows pointing to it and they said they will make a note about my concern about the poor description of this in their owners manual. I bet they make it more clear in their future owners manuals. Thanks again, Don
