Thanks for posting! The new truck and camper look great - so does the landscape. It has been on our list for a while, your post just upped the priority :-)
Re. your driving in germany with US plates: I have talked to local police and they were a bit unsure what to do with you (just as I expected). They would probably just want to see documentation of insurance and ownership and let you go, if anything... However, the police advised me to talk to our DMV ("Zulassungsstelle") and see what they have to say. There are short term plates that you can buy that will legalize anything - but you don't really want to add that expense to your fuel bill (around 130 EUR for 5 days for a passenger car; I have no idea what a TC would cost...). Personally, I am fairly confident they would not give you any trouble as-is, as they wouldn't know how to handle the case. But I can not publically advise you to try (and possibly fail). I'll keep you posted.
Best wishes,
Joerg

PapPappy : Thanks, 40 years ago you was in Land Wine, happy man !!
5Percent : Thanks for your kind words, I think the issue come from the separator between truck battery and camper battery, but I'm not sure now.
Silversand : I hope to see you soon, before we are too old !! You will see a very pretty region each side of Cherbourg.
Camper Jeff&Kelly : my truck is 2008, I controlled the relay and fuse, they are ok, it seem to me that it's the separator between truck and camper that stayed close. I think to do as you, a direct connection with the alternator.
Robert78121 : Thanks Robert, you have a good eyes, the look of the bicyclist on the combo was amazing, I expected a fall of them !
DiscoChiken : Thanks you, it's always a pleasure tho share.
Photomike : Thanks fo your kind words
Hey there : Thanks you, I think that the tornadoes are more devastating that a storm here. Our houses are in granite with walls of 0,80 or 1 meter of thickness !! Very strong !
Sabconsulting : Steve I'm surprised that you never visit the peninsula ! But the landscapes still so close like England or Ireland.
Thanks for the correction of the nuclear plant, I thought that it was in USA.
Spacedoutbob : Thanks you, glad that you like it.
Joerg68 : Thanks you Joerg for the informations, I think I will do it !!

Hello Thierry, I almost missed your post here but what a nice treat to see you and your wife having a great time in the new camper. Super nice pictures of the area and the cows are the healthiest I've ever seen. They look like they work out at the gym! I'm glad you had a great time and look forward to seeing more.
Have a nice week Thierry and Natacha...
Wow! Thanks of posting. Reminded me of our European trip.
Those French cattle interested me as we were told they required more care to raise compared to American cattle. Also the French cattle were much bigger than I'm used to. French beef tasted a little different as well. Though it tasted just as good maybe even better.

Thierry:
Too old (LOL) We won't wait that long !
I'll have to bring my tennis racket and running shoes. I can't serve any more (killed my back serving 27 years ago!), but I can volley (once you learn to play, it's like riding a bicycle: you never forget).
