I know this is a little last minute, but we will be getting to Moab area tomorrow and need to know the best place to stay for about 3 days. We want to rent a Jeep also. Any help will be appreciated.

Not a lot of choices that we found. We stayed at a campground on your right just as you enter town from the North. It was pretty nice and reasonable. Don't know about Jeep rentals. There were lots of them (Jeeps) in town though. Make sure you tour Arches Park.

Boondocking has been pretty much shut down by the BLM. Sadly the place where my truck camper and Jeep posed for my sig' pic is no longer legal.

I'm partial to Ken's Lake not too far south of town, first come first served $12/night with some very nice spots. If I'm in the big rig I like Canyonlands campground right in the heart of the town, walk to everything and nice shade.

Farbee's Jeep Rental, believe that is the name and they have a location in Moab. Been in business for years. Try to get reservations and drive the White Rim Trail. One of the top 4 x 4 drives in the 48. Do a Google.

It has been several years, 4?, since we have camped in or near Moab but I think you can still locate boondocking places. We had a good one 6 miles or so north of town.

Ron's Pack Creek is in town, inexpensive with sites for tents, electric/water and full hookups. It's a bit older but nice and clean. I stayed there for Jeep Safari Week last month.

There are (at least) three BLM sites on the river along 128. Inexpensive with no services except pit toilets. For more amenities, there is the RV Park at the north end of town, and another right in the middle of town. There's also a campground in Arches, but it's at the far end of the road into the Park and I wouldn't drive all the way in there wihout a reservation.
