I am thinking about using eternabond tape on all my vents. No leaks yet but don't want any. What do you guys think of this product?

It's a fantastic product. Use it on all your seams and edges.

...and hope YOU don't ever have to remove whatever is being sealed by it.

Good luck with it, But don't think I will be using it also. Not sure it would be easy to get back off if you were ever to need to replace anything also.

It's easy to remove whatever you seal with Eternabond.
Just take a razor blade and cut the tape.

Eternabond just works too well to fool with anything else.

I had a vent that was done with MANY layers and had to remove it as the leak was in the vent not at the seal. Thought that I was in big trouble looking at the mess that was there but I used a chisel to peal it back and to get at the screws. A sharp knife around the edge of the vent to get the vent off, then used a sharp chisel to clean up the rest on the camper and it went very fast.

Would use it again as the other vents that have it have never leaked.

IMO Eternabond isn't the best choice for that type of job. If you have a new unit I would contact the dealer or manufacture for their input as other have found out the hard way its not the best idea as one RV.net member found out:

A while back, I opened a thread asking whether eterna-bonding the roof seams on an almost-new TT as a preventative measure was a good idea ...the virtually unanimous opinion was 'yes'....

Well, took the TT to the selling dealer today for some minor work...rep. sees the tape job, asks 'why on earth did you DO that'?, and tells me that: a.) it's not necessary b.) it'll trap water if any water ever gets beneath the tape, and c.) any claim under the roof warranty may get kicked on grounds that the roof has been 'modified'....

thought i did the right thing by sealing the seams, but now not so sure....
