Don't see any problem with the RV having a full body paint. Whether or not it has a full body paint or just a clear coat, if you will leave it out in the open all the time, it is going to get damaged in time. Harold's suggestion to use some UV protection products on your RV should be able to help it last longer.

Full body paint generally costs more than those that don't have it. Therefore a little bit better resale...Personally we prefer the full body paint over the standard white.

Love mine, I do a hand wax each spring and use Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax throughout the season to wash it. After 4 years it looks the same as when it was new.

IMHO is that they look GREAT. worth the extra price? that depends on your budget and what the features that are important to you. Another concern i'd have is that any color other than white is going to suck up heat. when its 100+ my TT is livable but i fear that if it were a darker color the extra heat absorption may put it over the top. May not be an issue for MH's with 2 or more air conditioners ?

Ours is now almost 9 years old and still looks like new. Inside storage hasn't hurt either.

I've had both and would not consider another rig WITHOUT full body paint. Much easier to keep looking good.

X2
My Southwind clear coat on the white fiberglass started to get that yellow tint, even with a good wax applied yearly. There was no method to correct this, plus the vinyl graphics started fading. Now with the Bounder full body paint, at almost every campground someone will ask "new coach ?". Looks as good as when we purchased it four years ago. Not having full body paint could be a deal breaker for me.
