I am looking to buy my first RV ever.

Anybody have any info on a VERY LARGE RV shows near me?
I want to look at all the options available to me.

Largest one is going to be the one in Orange county. 700 miles from you. If you do not yet know what type of RV you want go shopping at local dealers. If you already know what you want and what your budget is start shopping for that specific type. I would suggest you start small and used Stay away from Motor homes. They generally are the most expensive to own and maintain. Look instead for maybe a tent trailer to a gently used travel trailer. Buying used has many advantages. Among them, lower initial cost, lower depreciation, easier resale if you decide the lifestyle is not for you, plentiful. Most people have no clue what their ideal RV should look like, so they trade every couple of years getting progressively closer to their ideal RV. Buying new you will take a hugh hit on depreciation when you sell or trade. Craigslist and local dealers are great places to shop.

Ask a dealer local to you. When my wife and I were looking, the local dealer gave us free tickets to the RV show. Saved us like $20.

There are spring and fall rv shows in Portland, Salem and Eugene every year. The spring shows have been held. Check Portland Expo Center, Oregon State Fairgrounds and Eugene Expo Center for future schedule.

Can not help you with shows near you.. Can tell you whatever you buy you will likely find a rig you like better 10 minutes after taking delivery but that's just one of Murphy's laws so don't worry about it.

World's largest RV rally, (Which usually means the world's largest collections of FOR SALE signs both new and used) is the last half of January in Quartsite< AZ. Right now if you go down there you see miles and miles of miles and miles (Nothing but catus) Go there in Jan and it is miles and miles of every kind of RV you can imagine and a few that will surprise you. I park 3 miles south of the main tent when I'm there, and I visit another 2 miles south of that and it's RV's all the way.. As the wise guy says: Bring lots of $$$$$$$$.
