We stayed at Destiny and it was just what everyone said about it. The space we were in was #80. pull thru. We seemed to have people close to us but never knew they were there. Our WiFi worked sometimes. It was okay for what we wanted it for. We checked out Ray Roberts Lake and campgrounds but we couldn't get close too many people lined up to go into the park. Next time. We had a nice weekend. Thanks for all the suggestions. We are going to try some of the other places named not on a holiday weekend.

Why don't you try some of the OK state parks. We stayed at Robbers Cave in Wilburton. Just about 5 hours from Altus. Great park with equestrian trails and campgrounds, horse riding stables, canoe and paddleboat rentals, swim beach, swimming pool, hiking trails. Breathtaking views exist from every direction along with the crystal clear waters of Lake Carlton, Coon Creek Lake, and Wayne Wallace Reservoir. We enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed there in the fall and fished for trout. Had a nice time.
