Currently employed as a contracts consultant

Prior work includes; pipefitter, mechanical engineer, project manager, attorney, procurement team lead.

Very grateful for the career so far....but pretty jealous to read some of the (both current and past) occupational histories on this thread.

Quality control/inspection for nearly 40 years, and counting. Retiring in 1.5 years. Currently employed at a little parachute shop for the last 8 year or so.
I hope it's okay to put in a link to my employer's website, just to show the folks what I'm involved with. If not, mods please delete.

Have spent the last 15 years as a heavy equipment operator/winter foreman for the local airport authority. 10 more years at least, maybe a few more because I like my job.

USAF for 24 years, first as crew chief on fighter jets, then as a cardiopulmonary lab tech. Now I'm a respiratory therapist, which can be interesting at high altitude.
