...So, why are other manufacture reps not allowed here...?..I know the answer, but would like an honest answer from the "powers that be".....
If camping world dude is truely all that and a bag of tater chips, why would we not benefit from allowing other manufacture reps here to field questions, problems, complaints, criticisims, and compliments?....Answer if you dare..YOU do OWN

Their companies should have their own website for Q&A's. I personally don't care to see this forum cluttered up with other companies. You can only put up with so much *****in'.
I appreciate Mr. L. giving the members of this forum the opportunity to express their opinions regarding Camping World and the service(s) they've received. His willingness to assist when problems arise is encouraging. I'm looking forward to buying more "stuff" from Camping World.
So thank you, Mr. L. Here's your pat-on-the-back and your "Attaboy", lol. Keep up the great work.

As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way.
(as I'm sure he'll confirm) He took a LOT of heat from the forum when he 1st made his presence known: Some justified, most not... there are compulsive whiners everywhere.
Since then I think even the problem children have somewhat settled down to realize he's here and doing a lot of good for the few isolated cases that need a little nudge from the top floor.
I wish Alan Mulally (Ford) would read a few of his forums once in awhile..

What makes you think RV Manufactuers would communicate with their customers?!?!?! Follow-up up on their customer satisfaction, quality issues and through another's site, via a fourm?!?!?!? Funny they don't follow-up thru normal channels.........
Just wondering if CE (O/P) is getting a discount card from CW, for saying nice things...LOL!!!
I've watched quite a few episodes of "Undercover Boss", and it seems that the new thing (and the smart thing) that these CEOs have been doing, to help their companies, is to listen to the Customers and the Employees.....not just sitting up in their "ivory tower" listening to their "Yes Men".
As to why Marcus has no Secretary, I can't understand that one.....He should, as it would allow him to actually spend more time with the company, by having someone to help with the daily stuff that a CEO has to deal with. I applaud him for be active on this Forum, and while many of you may think that it's BS, the fact is, it's good business....plain and simple.
Our local RV Shop, Howard's RV, in Wilmington, has a monthly Seminar, on a variety of topics related to ownership in RVs. This is their way of keeping a finger on the pulse of their customers....and it's very helpful to us, as I've learned quite a bit, with their "hands on" training.
Not sure if CW does this, but it might be something to consider Marcus.....I'm sure that most of the folks who come in and learn about the various chemicals for the holding tanks, buy some of them.....know what I mean?

Eh?
Just in the last few weeks I have seen employees of Honda generators and Torklift answering questions. Over the years I've seen employees of various RV firms, from builders, to vendors, to management at membership campgrounds. Usually the response is things like: We don't recommend that. We will look into the issue and find out. etc

For any of the doubters here, Marcus does frequent this forum often each week and all of his posts are made by him. As for the need of a executive secretary, many CEO's do not have one but do delegate many tasks.
While Marcus has a lot on his plate, taking time to participate on this forum does give him some direct customer feedback and perhaps a pulse on the business operation.
I can also guarantee (from experience) that as CEO he has not experienced any eight-hour days or five-day workweeks in many moons. It is not at all out of the ordinary for CEO's to put in 60 - 70 hour work weeks.

I applaud Marcus for really caring and frequenting this forum. It's here he can get a feel for what is going on in the company's he is charged with running. I have a public service job and deal with our personnel and citizens on a daily basis and making them all happy is impossible so for me seeing him posting means he's reading and using the information found in these topics for the good of all parties involved. Marcus keep up the good work!
