The time has come to replace the teen ager F 250. I swung thru the local Ford truck dealer today to get a brochure and probably will make a much more serious stop tomorrow.

I am almost set on the 6.2 gasser for my needs. My fifth wheel weighed in at 10.5K dry with 1800 pin weight as i best recall - I will get the exact figures out of the file before I go in.

The sales person said that 2011's are really not out there.

Any basic thoughts or ideas? I really want to feel like i did not get hosed and yet get it over with and locally if possible

I did a quick search on cars.com for 2011 gas powered F250's. The only ones left within a 250 mile radius of my southern indiana area are regular cab 2wd trucks. So I guess unless that's what you want the dealer is correct about the 2011's being gone.
wish you luck with you search

Make sure you get a 4:10 axle with a gasser if you plan on towing over 10k. I have heard good things about the 6.2.

I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't want a diesel, just advice on gasser. Diesels aren't for everyone. Just saying.
